Dist. 3 Candidate Announces 40-Member Leadership Team
CUMMING -- Republican Todd Levent became one of the first candidates to officially qualify for the District 3 seat on the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners Monday. Levent, a former deputy marshal and S.W.A.T. team member launched his campaign by announcing the formation of a 40-member Leadership Team to be co-chaired by Kimberly Brown and Craig Nolen.
"The people in Dist. 3 know Todd and they like and respect him," Brown said. "He's lived in south Forsyth for 17 years and his neighbors know he's a pro-business, pro-public safety, conservative Republican who is committed to ending the reckless spending and fiscal mismanagement of the last four years." Levent will challenge incumbent District 3 Commissioner Jim Harrell for his seat on the Board of Commissioners. After qualifying, Levent said, "I'm amazed at how quick our campaign has built up tremendous enthusiasm and momentum. It's humbling to see my friends and neighbors getting so energized by this election. I'm honored to have their support and I look forward to standing up for all the citizens of District 3 on the Board of Commissioners." The Levent Leadership team includes:
